Hirokazu Sato was an exceptional guitarist and composer whose motto in composition was “to make the music easy to play, easy to understand, and melodic.” Even after his passing on December 22, 2016, his works continue to be loved and performed by many guitarists and guitar enthusiasts.

This book, Prelude to Spring: Hirokazu Sato Guitar Works Collection, is a compilation of original solo guitar pieces that were published in each issue of Guitar Dream magazine (2006?2013), which has now become difficult to obtain. Responding to strong requests from fans, these pieces have been gathered into a single volume.
